Hi, I moved to greenpoint avenue at the end of last summer, but I've been living in the area for the past 5 years. I found your blog doing a google search on the former WNYC transmitter site, which i find fascinating and beatiful. do you have more information about it? about the history and present condition? you mentioned in your previous post that the access to the site is not possible because of "numerous trip hazards", do you know more about that? I know that the park is half closed, but i could still visit it few times during the day. any info you can share with us?
thank you, and congratulations on your blog. keep posting, and i would like to callaborate with this blog!
Hey its 2006. Are you still blogging here? Keep it up. Nice two months of work.
That looks great, but Greenpoint's been mistreated in the past. I don't see Greenpoint getting greener anytime soon.
Bullshit. Bird Sanctuary? Shade Terrace? Native grasses? Why don't they plant some giant beanstalk seeds and a unicorn run? I'd be happy with a dog run and someone to come by monthly and throw out the used needles.
